Daddy's Little "Helper"

G is off today since he has to work on his normal day off this next Friday (gotta love flex schedules!). It has been really nice having him home mid-week...almost feels like a weekend :). He was organizing his closet (again) today (wonders really do never cease!) and D decided to play in the closet while G was undertaking this task. What ensued was pretty funny:














We have a great picture of him smiling while playing with the hangers, but unfortunately, it is blurry and I only got the two pictures before our camera battery gave up the ghost (just needs to be recharged...not to worry). At any rate, he played under G's clothes with these hangers for quite a while and then pitched a crying fit when G finished, removed D from the closet and closed the door. Like I have said many times in this blog...D tends to like the really expensive toys the best. As far as walking, he is now walking about 90 to 95% of the time. He can make laps around the house without falling or grabbing onto anything at this point. All I can say is "WOW!" It is so amazing to watch him toddle around everywhere, and so fun to see him exert his independence now that he has tackled this big step in his development (no pun intended).

And for the Jeep update...there is none :(. Still no word or Jeep sighting to speak of. And so we continue our wait. And laugh at the irony that G's rental car has TX plates :).

And lastly, the preggo update...April showers will not be bringing December deliveries. Ho hum.
