Bubbles

I bet you thought this post would be about how much D likes when we blow soap bubbles, you know, the ones you can buy from the store. Well, he does like those bubbles, but that is not what this post is all about. Check out this video:

Notice anything? Look closely at D's mouth. Do you see? Spit bubbles! Yes, spit bubbles. Lately he has been running around the house making this funny noise that I can only approximate to "moi, moi, moi, moi." We didn't really pay close attention at first because he runs around babbling a lot of things which we don't quite understand at this point. But, one day recently I was sitting on the ground watching him play while he was making this noise and about died laughing when I realized what he was doing. Every time he makes the noise "moi," he is making a spit bubble. Too funny! So, we have graduated from teething drool to spit bubble drool :). D has also started throwing some serious crying fits when something doesn't go his way. Yesterday, I actually had to set him down and let him cry it out alone because when I tried to comfort him, he got even more mad. It was so cute when he finally decided to "apologize" by coming over and giving me a big hug. I know we have many (many) ((many)) more years of these to come, and I am sure eventually they will cease being cute, but for now, we are enjoying each new emotion as he experiences it.
