Obviously, I intervened and pulled him out before he deposited bananas, peaches, oatmeal and milk all over our family room. I have a feeling there will be many more such incidents before he begins understanding some of the limitations of the human body. Perhaps watching Inspector Gadget or The Fantastic Four (stretchy rubber dude) should be banned for a few more years :).

The Makings of a Monkey
As D continues to gain confidence in his mobility, he has begun to get himself into some compromising positions, mostly due to his insistence on playing with no nos, but also because he hasn't fully developed an awareness of what his body can and can't do. Today was a perfect example. He was playing with two halves of plastic Easter eggs and decided to drop them down into a bar stool. Then he attempted retrieval of said Easter eggs. However, while he found he was able to get those eggs, he could not figure out how to get himself back out of the stool:

He's such a boy! Into everything! Just wait, at some point you'll find him teetering precariously on some monstrous height and you will be terrified - however, he'll be having a blast. :-)
