Dinner Out

Although we have had offers from many of our wonderful friends and neighbors to watch D while we go out together, we haven't taken anyone in ABQ up on it yet simply because we haven't been ready to part with him for too long. I know, I know, it probably sounds weird, but it is just how we have felt. At any rate, G and I are headed out to dinner together tonight as we finally decided we are ready. Two of our friends/neighbors, C and T, are coming over tonight to play with D and help get him in bed while G and I head out. C mentioned a few times recently that they would be happy to watch D so we could get out...thank you! Their parents, K and D, have also offered and will be our next D-watching "victims", although we still need to ask them if it is still ok :). They kindly gave us a gift card for Olive Garden when D was born, and we are finally preparing to use it...thank you! Baby steps :).
