The Boy in the Rubber Fishy-Face Mask

NEBULIZE ME BABY!!! Thankfully, we made it through the first day of 4x/day treatments with the fishy-face mask and I even managed to do one of the treatments myself (I needed to convince myself it was actually possible since G leaves again on Monday). D still doesn't like them very much, but does enjoy watching Mom and Dad make complete fools out of themselves trying to keep him happy :). It is amazing what one will do to elicit a smile and giggle from a baby! Someday maybe D will look back on this experience and think the mask would be a cool Halloween costume addition.

Thankfully, D seemed to be in a better mood today and managed to keep all of his food and formula down all day...well, I should knock on wood as he is currently trying to fall asleep, so we are not totally out of the woods yet. He had a great time with his bath tonight, and even blew bubbles and came up with a Santa Claus bubble beard. Unfortunately, we didn't have the camera for that exact moment, but we did get a cute shot later on.

Yes folks, that there is baby booty! Close your eyes!

Hi! I happened upon your site and saw that you were having to do the dreaded nebulizer! We had to do this with our son when he was 13 months old, and although we don't like him watching TV, we let him watch Disney or PBS whenever he was sitting still for the treatment. It worked like a charm.... just a suggestion. Stacey

ACK! Teething and RSV. Poor D!!! We had to do the nebulizer with Aidan too. We did the bribe thing too. They try to make the masks friendly looking - ours is a dino -but it just doesn't help much. Hope you all feel better
VERY soon!!!
