Thunderbirds Sighting +++

Last Sunday, G and I ran in the Colfax Half Marathon!This was G's first ever 1/2 and my 3rd one, but we were so excited to finally be able to do something like this together again :). Many thanks to Uncle B and Aunt K for letting us spend the night and watch the kiddos in the morning while we ran! G finished 1:58:15 (9:02 pace) and I finished 2:11:08 (10:01 pace). He smoked it! Not my best, but I was happy to finish given I'd been having some knee issues and hip issues during the race. Perhaps it is time for me to retire this distance and stick with 10K's :). Fantastic job G!!!

Tuesday was the kid's Spring Tumbling performances! Hard to believe they've been doing this for 1 1/2 years! Here are a few pictures...

Afterwards, we tried to hit the outdoor pool, but it was just too cold, so we moved it inside. Then it was off to the Colorado Brewery for some lunch and hopeful Thunderbirds watching as they were to be practicing for the AFA graduation ceremony the next day.
