We found out a few weeks ago that G was nominated for 2012 Young Engineer in CO. Certainly a well-deserved nomination IMHO. We are so proud of his hard work and accomplishments, and happy to see those being recognized! Anyhow, we made our way up to Denver on Wednesday of this past week for the awards banquet. I managed to get a few pictures, though I hope the professional ones turn out better lol.

Though he did not get the award, it was such an honor for him to be nominated! The gentleman who did win is very active in AIAA, so it made perfect sense. We had a wonderful evening, enjoyed dressing up and eating yummy food at a restaurant we've never been to before, and meeting some new people. And, a milestone for us, we left the kids with a sitter. They did great! They were giggling in the same bed when we got home which was too cute. I think they were waiting up for us lol ♥.
