Royal Gorge Visit

But first...

...I bring you, sun-bathing-A :).

On Saturday, we made our way to the Royal Gorge along with Uncle B, Aunt K, S and E. Though Uncle B swears we were there as children, I have no memory of such an event :), so it was fun to make some new memories...that I'll hopefully remember this time around lol.

Nearing the point of no return :).

Kids gazing out at the amazing view from the bridge. Or perhaps they are holding on for dear life given the wind was buffeting the bridge around enough to move it ;).

It really was an amazing view which made the frightening crossing well worth it!

The kids were comparing the size of their hands to the size of the massive cable from which this bridge is suspended. A true engineering/architecture marvel! Let's just hope all the designers and builders got A's in the classes that count ;).

Family photo op! Yes, you will likely see this one again towards the end of the year :).

Family photo op for the Griffiths! LOVE S's tongue...perhaps I'll have to include this in P's graduation tongue montage ;).

I was trying to get a picture that captured just how far above Mother Earth we really were. This was taken between two wooden slats we walked across, so literally straight down.

Cool view of what we just crossed!

Awwwwww ♥

Da never-ending sources of energy Boyz!

All the kids took a Burro ride :).

And pet the adorable baby goat :).

I was lucky enough to have a decent view when we went back across via the sky ride.

Cute kids waiting in line for the incline railway :).

Yep, there always has to be at least one :-p

Aunt K, Uncle B and S chillin' before we board the incline railway.

Looking up at what we just came down!

Looking up at what we crossed lol.

Look carefully and you'll also see the sky ride.

Train rides!

What an amazing time! We'll definitely have to do that one again :)! Thanks to BKSE for joining us and for the fabulous idea!!!
