This past weekend I visited my fabulous friend, M, in Minnesota and finally had the chance to meet her husband of six months, G! Although it was a quick trip, arriving in the wee hours of the 27th and departing mid-day on the 29th, it was a GREAT trip! Friday we had the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with a quick dip in the lake behind their house (the water was a tad chilly), a nice relaxing rest on a swim dock, a few fast and fun spins around the lake on their boat, a nice walk with the dogs around their peaceful neighborhood and some yummy eating. Saturday was a bit rainy and cold, but we still managed to get out for a fun walk/jog and a wonderful reception celebrating their marriage. Though the weather didn't really cooperate, we all still had a fabulous time meeting their families and friends! Thanks to you both M and G for such a wonderful weekend and for the chance to see your wonderful home!

This was the first time I had been away from D for such a long period of time. I missed him dearly, but was completely at peace knowing he was having a great time here at home with his Dad!
