A Fun Evening

Last night our friends came over with their kiddos and we all had a great time catching up and watching the kids enjoy themselves. We have had a nice streak of cool weather here lately, and last night was no exception. This actually made it really nice to be out on the back porch and meant no sunscreen application was necessary as the kids splashed their way around the water table.














D, CA and M have a contest to see who can get their clothes the wettest the fastest :)















D is just a water bug...he loves to play with the hose even if there isn't any water coming out of it at the time. M was enjoying the twisty-turny umbrella.

D also figured out how to go down the slide by himself yesterday. I think the first time was accidental, i.e. he got too far and realized he couldn't go back so just let go, but after that he seemed to know what he was doing.



And, we usually clap for him when he does something by himself that we have been working on with him for a little while. Here you can see that he has picked that up for himself as well.
