See No Food, Smell No Food, Eat No Food?

Ever since we dropped him to one mid-day nap, D has been playing a new food game with us. The series of pictures below should be pretty self-explanatory:

If I close my eyes will the food disappear?

It is almost comical to try and get him to eat lunch, and no, this is not before the nap, but after. So you would think he would be pretty hungry by then :).

D had a wonderful playdate with his friends M and CA today:














And I enjoyed the chance to catch up with my friend R after their TN trip. Well, catch up as much as possible with three kids under the age of 3 in the pool :). Our friend and neighbor, P, even came over to join in the fun for a little while which was great! We are so grateful for wonderful friends and our wonderful neighborhood!!!
