...wait! D got to stay through lunch today at school, and when P and I dropped him off he said, 'Mommy, I'm so excited, it's my first day of Kindergarten!' My heart nearly dropped (no, I am CLEARLY not ready for that event yet), and then I had to laugh (quietly, to myself). So.stinkin'.cute! He was super excited to stay and eat lunch with his friends today at school and apparently equated that to being in Kindergarten :). Anyhoo, P and I enjoyed some extra time with Daddy while D was enjoying some extra time with his friends, so it was a great morning all around. I didn't have the camera to take pictures (yes, I know, I failed in that department this morning), but I wanted to make sure to remember his cute comment :).
And, in P news, I dropped her off at VillaKids wearing underwear today, for the first time ever. She usually wears it when I am working because she is with me, but this was the first time without me present. And she did it!!!!! SO PROUD of our little 2 1/2 year old! Other than naps and bedtime, we are free of all things diaper and pull-up for the first time in 4 1/2 years!!!!!!
