Word Play

Nope, no pictures here today. Just words.

So, we have been having fun with words/sentences...learning them, using them, understanding them, etc. Two things I never want to forget:

1. D and I had a conversation about the fact that Daddy gets up and goes to work everyday, and that this is very important to our family. He was curious about why Daddy is gone during the days, but home at night and on the weekends. Because I generally have a hard time being serious, I explained to D that Daddy 'brings home the bacon'. D took this literally and actually went to the fridge one night when G got home to check it for bacon :). Soooooo cute! Now when I ask him what Daddy does at work, he replies, 'brings home the bacon' :D.

2. The other day we were talking about why we wear shoes when we go out walking...broken glass etc. In fact, just yesterday when P and I were playing in the park, I encountered a huge piece of broken glass mixed in with the wood chips...scare me! Anyhow, he wasn't in the mood to wear shoes the other day and told me, 'I just want to walk with my feet on'...♥ ♥ ♥ ♥. The innocence of kids is beautiful, and lightens my everyday!!
