1st Day of Pre-School

What a momentous occasion around here today! D attended his very first ever day of pre-school!!! Despite being sicker than I have been in longer than I can remember, I did manage to get us all up, fed, dressed, and D to school :)!!! I even managed to control the tears until I left with P in tow. A bitter-sweet time to see your first baby go off to school. When I picked him up, the teachers said he had a FABULOUS time, was very well behaved *whew* and really seemed to enjoy himself. And of course, he painted \o/! This is his current favorite 'arts & crafts-y' thing to do. I am so grateful we found such a wonderful place for him to be and extremely happy he is off to a great start.

Let's GO already, Mom!

Seriously...enough with the pictures :).

D's school is in a neighbor just around the corner from where we live and it seems like such a wonderful place with knowledgeable, friendly teachers. Very fun to be sending him to a school similar to what I attended as a kiddo.

Of course how could one go wrong with a fish tank :)?! The little boy standing next to D helped him learn where things were today.

D's artwork ♥.

Such a proud Mommy day for me...though I was not quite ready to let go of him, it is only 3 days/week for 3 hours/day...and he was REALLY ready for this :).

And yes, I do know that I need to get 'teh move' pictures loaded and I will. I seriously have been incapacitated the past few days and am only starting to feel slightly better thanks to my wonderful brother and sister-in-law (thank you both!!!!!!). I have been told what I have will run its course in 3 days, so hopefully I'll be back to normal by Thursday PM-ish. I guess the stress and exhaustion of the move finally wore my immune system down, and when the kids got sick, this time they did pass it along :(. Just glad they were through it in 24 hours. Thanks for your patience!!
