Catching Up

Wow! So, I am fiiiiiiiiinally getting around to posting the move pics...and beyond! It feels good to be getting settled here in the Springs, and to have something that now closely resembles a home rather than pile after pile of boxes lol. Let me just start by saying...we are LOVING it! We lucked into a very nice area and continue to be amazed each day by the neat things that surround us!! As promised, below you will find pictures of the move...

Saying goodbye to Miss K and the gym daycare :(. Thank you all sooooo much...we sincerely appreciate all you did for our kids, for us, and I thoroughly enjoyed working with you!!

One last play at Del Norte.

Miss K gets one last D smile :).

The U-Haul. Did I mention that between the movers and this, we still had spill-over :)? When did we collect so.much.stuff?!

Scare-me-U-Haul drivers! Someone alert the highway patrol.

J and A made the trip without incident despite loathing all-things-automobile.

Of course A migrated to a more comfortable riding position :).

And more comfortable still lol. Kids loved it!

Weary travelers. After several nights of air mattresses and make-shift beds, we decided a night in a hotel was overdue. This was our first night in CSprings.

Miss P managed to find some energy in her reserves though, and elected Uncle C to help drain it :).

Grandpa and Uncle C came to the 505 to help us move (thank you sooooo much!!!!). Here Grandpa spends some downtime with the kiddos ♥.

Awwwwwww ♥

'Naptime'

What I thought was a cute cat-nap was actually the beginnings of the illness that wiped us completely out for 5 solid days :(.

Sick? Who said anything about being sick? D always finds a reason to enjoy a blue tongue (and thumb lol).

So does his sidekick :).

Arts & crafts have resumed!

And as usual, painting is D's craft-of-choice.

Unless of course he has an opportunity to eat popsicles with his sis \o/ :).

Poppa came down for a bit to help out too (as if packing up our entire kitchen wasn't help already lol). We enjoyed a little park-play while he was here.

Pushing Miss P.

Weeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

Dare-devil P keeps me on my feet at the park! She completely skipped the 18-month old appropriate structures and went right for the big stuff.

Monkeys!

Yep, like I said, monkeys :D!

Coooooooookie Monsters!

Ready to roll!

Skuuuuuuuut! We live right by a fabulous park with great trails for the kids to ride on. Seriously, we are so lucky (and slowly getting spoiled day-by-day).

Lovin' the swing!

Up up in the air...

Cool dude D and Miss P enjoyed a dinner out with Poppa :).

*mwaaaaaaaaaah*

Listen closely to how D says the magic words ♥ :)

Yep, CSprings is magic!

P snuggles ♥

She is so close to actual pedaling, but for now, she really just enjoys sitting on the trike and getting pushed around.

And D is finally big enough to ride his big-wheel!

Poppa shows the kids a pretty orange and yellow flower in the park.

Look Ma, no hands (or training wheels)!!!!!

Princess P gets a lift from Mom ♥

Sliiiiiiiiiiding! Again, no toddler structure for this toddler!

Dizzy!

Our new gym has a phenomenal indoor (and outdoor) play/splash area for the kids. Like, I said, totally.spoiled.rotten!!!

And, today was D's first ever soccer game! Our gym has a neat 2.5 month program for 'Under 5's' to play. One practice and one game per week. Of course, P really wanted to play too lol.

Awwwwww ♥

Check out his face :D!

It was so fun watching these kids play! The experience level was all over the map, but they made it work :).

Finally, I just want to say thank you so much to everyone for help before, during and after the move. We couldn't have done it without such wonderful family and friends! We hope to see you all here whenever you have a chance...we've got plenty of space and would love to show you our new home!!!!
