Single Digit Weeks

I realized today that we are now counting down single digit weeks until Baby P's estimated arrival. Single digit! Technically, I have about 9 weeks left (2 months) and am in disbelief. Don't get me wrong; I have been enjoying this pregnancy as much as I possibly can as I hope it will be my last, but I am reaching the stage where I am getting ready to be done. Most everything is ready for her arrival, we just need to register at the hospital (which takes like 5 minutes), decide which of D's old clothes we will be keeping and box up the rest for donation once she is born, buy a changing table for downstairs, and move the crib mattress back up for a newborn. D is successfully transitioned to his new room (thank goodness) and doesn't seem to care about the nursery any longer other than to get the books he wants to read. We still read to him in the nursery because we are too afraid to put a rocking chair in his room for fear he would accidentally tip it onto himself while unsupervised (at night and during naps). But, I don't think that will be too much of an issue since it will be fun to read to both kids at the same time. D is very aware of babies and the care providers at our gym say he likes to "help" with the babies. So, we are hopeful that this helpful streak will continue when Baby P arrives :)! He does seem to understand that there is a baby in Mommy's belly, but that is about it so far. Oh, and his obsession with looking at our photo albums from when he was an itty bitty.
