A Labor of Love

When assembling all of the nursery furniture prior to D's arrival, I continued to tell myself it was a labor of love (as I smashed my fingers and contorted my body into foreign positions trying to follow the abominable directions). Today, G and I experienced this again as we assembled the bus. Yes, the bus has finally been freed. We received a letter letting us know that Santa would be visiting our house tonight since we won't be here on Christmas eve...so today G and I spent a few hours trying to ensuring this visit would come true. The results? Check back tomorrow, but here is a preview:

It is our hope that this toy will be entertaining for a few years...it has like 16 different activities on it, so one would think it possible. We can't wait to see D's reaction to it tomorrow!!

We also set out our luminaries tonight so D could see them. He was more interested in sticking his fingers in the flames (yikes), so after a bit we blew them out and will try again next year :).
