So, ever since we put up our Christmas tree, all of D's toys have gone unnoticed. Yes, at the end of the day after ten-ton-of-energy has gone to bed when we clean up the usual hurricane of toys, I have noticed over the past few days that the toy hurricane has vanished. Instead? I spend my days chasing D out from under the tree, picking up ornaments and praying that he doesn't somehow manage to get a hold of any of our true keepsake ones (which are up high for now). It has been a bit taxing to say the least. I used to be able to fix his lunch while he played with toys, but now when I try to concoct lunch, I find him under the tree, in the tree, trying to pull down the tree, or pulling lights and ornaments off the tree. Madness!!! My brother had a wonderful idea on how to mostly eliminate the hassle, and I think we will be on top of that next year...i.e. no lights (well, in our case at least) and only cheap-o ornaments we will purchase in post-Christmas sales :). Here is an adorable (of course I might be biased) picture of our little tree-imp:

And, as I mentioned in my last blog entry, it did snow here, though briefly and not enough to stick (at least in our area). Here is evidence:

If anyone would like to share their snow, I will gladly take it!!!

He sure is a cute little tree-imp!
This post brings back memories! We've had to tie our tree to a plant hook on the ceiling because our cat couldn't resist a good climb. We also baby gated off our tree for several years because the kids couldn't resist. :)
