Wait, did someone say 26 weeks? Where oh where does the time go? I can't believe that in just a few short days, I enter the third trimester of this pregnancy! Wow! It was, as always, so nice to hear her heartbeat at our appointment today, and know that everything is still on track. Feeling kicks this time around is quite different from last time...I haven't been able to explain to D that sometimes I need to lie down and be still to try and feel her kicks. Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! Still? That word is not part of a 19 month old's vocabulary (or awareness)...at least not ours. At any rate, a while back I mentioned that I would put a belly picture up, so here you go:
My weight gain is pretty much right on track with the last pregnancy, so no worries there.
And in D news, he just seems to get cuter and cuter with each day and does funny things that surprise me all the time. Recently, he has taken to making this smile when I say "do the sweet smile":
He will be getting his first hair cut over the Thanksgiving week...we are both looking forward to it, and in a small way I am also dreading it. It will mean the end of his curls, but also the end of combing through snarls, which he doesn't find to be so much fun (nor does mom).
