We were in Chicago the past few days for a long weekend to see one of G's friend's get married. D's Grandparents met us there to see D as well as watch him during the various wedding events since D is just not quite of age to make it through most of them (without us tearing our hair out...or him tearing something apart :) ). We all had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the chance to see and participate in a traditional Indian wedding. D was able to go trick-or-treating in G's friend's neighborhood and had quite the time. He still doesn't understand exactly what is going on, but I think he will by next year. And, since he wasn't interested in most of the candy, Mom and Dad are just so sad that they will have to help eat it :). Here are a few pictures of our fun times:

A successful first try with Daddy and Grandpa.

A few smiles with Mommy.

I think I am done now Daddy.

Supervising dinner activities at Pappadeaux post trick-or-treating.

Airplane-ing with Daddy through the wedding reception.

Can I go see Grandpa and Grandma now?

As part of the wedding festivities, I got my hand henna tattooed.
