"Oddee"

Occasionally, when things get really busy and both G and I are too tired to deal with D's bath, we let him take showers with us. Thankfully, the shower is large enough that he has room to play around as well as get clean. The first few times, he wasn't too sure he liked having water hit him in the head, but gradually he has adapted. And now? HE.LOVES.THE.SHOWER. In fact, he loves it so much that whenever either G or I need to take a shower, he assumes he gets to take one too :). "Oddee, oddee, oddee" is all we hear whenever the shower is turned on, accompanied by a big grin, and it is hard to keep him out! While baths are still tons of fun, we love the fact that he is willing to enjoy a shower and finds them almost as much fun!

Grandpa introduced D to a new concept when he was here recently: a fort! D has a great time playing under one of our coffee tables when a blanket is laid on top. Today, he was a little pooped after a big morning and this is what we saw when the fort was erected:

In case you were wondering, that is D in one of his rare tired moments :).
