Box Bongo, Rhinos & a Rooaaarrrrrr

D's friends M and CA were over for a little while yesterday afternoon and they thought playing box bongos was just too much fun. I missed my chance to get a picture with all three, so here is a cute one of D and CA:














This morning D and I visited the Zoo, which was back to being non-congested since school is back in session (whew!). We had a blast visiting the different animals and watching them eat. D was able to walk around quite a bit without getting into anything dangerous, which was a nice break for both of us. He especially enjoyed watching the monkeys because there was a little baby who kept swinging on the ropes, jumping from adult back to adult back, and just generally being cute. It was tough to get pictures of them though because they are behind some sort of glass/plastic. We saw the Rhinos for the first time today, and had a great view of the King of the Jungle:




























It was such a treat listening to D spout out his animal sounds as we passed by their various exhibits.
