The Miracle of Heat...

...when you have been without for a number of nights of near freezing temps is phenomenal!!! We want to say a special thank you to our wonderful neighbors: K & D for their many attempts to help me get the furnace fired up, their recommendation on a furnace repair company, and their two loaner space heaters to help bridge the gap between the non-working furnace and when the repair person could stop by; and to B who stopped by unexpectedly last night and poof...with a wave of his magic hands fixed the furnace...to the tune of $10 (the cost of a new thermocouple at Lowes) versus the $100 the repair company was planning to charge for their visit tomorrow, which I will be canceling today. We can't thank you all enough for your help and kindness...we are the luckiest people to have such wonderful friends in our neighbors!!
