D had his first taste of solid food today... yummy rice cereal. You can see by his face that he was super excited! More exciting though is that Daddy got to come home to experience solids first hand :)! We believe more cereal actually ended up outside his mouth than inside his mouth ...actually, the proof is in his clothes, the bib, and the table, where at least 99% of it ended up. Smart parents would have realized that the end of the day is not the time to try solids for the first time, but alas, we all learn some things the hard way. Right? Anyway, we plan to try again tomorrow mid-day, when he is happy, awake, and somewhat hungry. Wish us luck!
