Denver Firefighters Museum

Yesterday, we made a spontaneous trip to Denver to visit the Firefighters Museum with my bro and his kiddos. Our summers are so ridiculously crazy that it took the last minute, 'tomorrow's free' to get this trip planned lol. Anyhoo, here are a few picture from the trip...

LMAO! I spotted this dude driving to Denver and had to snap a pic. I was giggling as we passed him and then most of the way to Denver. "Hello, BRV speaking, what is your emergency?"...

Fireman D!

Firewoman P!

Sliding down the pole.

Driving this firetruck was definitely one of the highlights of the trip!

You see?! Even silly Uncle B gave it a go :)!

D and P putting out a fire!

Awwww ♥

This caught my attention! Crazy what uber hot temps can do to steel.

Upstairs, the girls got busy building.

While the boys checked out the video games :).

And P found her hero, Buzz, of course :).

E testing out the play razor. Clearly we know who she watches shaving ;).

P 'mailing' Buzz :).

Communicating!

After the museum, we walked to the 16th street mall to have a picnic lunch. It certainly felt funny to be amidst a bunch of business folks on lunch hour lol. The kids were AMAZED to learn that the fun of 16th street existed when Aunt C and Uncle B were kids...SO OLD lol ;).

Completely cached :). I didn't get any good pictures, but after lunch we took the kids to Confluence Park near Elitches and they played in the Platte River for about an hour. Museum + 16th Street + Water Play = TIRED P ♥.

Thanks for a great, spontaneous day together Uncle B, S and E!!!
