And We're Off!

Last Thursday, we unexpectedly ran into one of D's Villa friends at the zoo entrance. A is one of the reasons D is excited to go to VK with me when I go to work, so it was a treat being able to spend some extra time outside the VK confines with her and her family. Though blurry, I did manage to snap a quick picture of the dynamic duo before they were off and running once more :).

The kids were lucky enough to feed an adorable baby chicken.

The also got to help decorate a rocket G built with his co-workers and help launch it on Friday at the AF Academy as part of G's Wing Man day.

Friday morning, I took the kids to the Pixie Skating class at Skate City. It started off fun, but unfortunately, D fell and bonked his head something fierce and ended up going to Urgent Care with me to make sure it wasn't serious. Thankfully, he was fine and just needed a day of rest to make it better. They will be wearing helmets to any subsequent skating classes, even if they are the only kids in the crowd with them on!

We had a PJ morning at our house this past Saturday, and I caught the girls in a moment of music :). Reminds me of two once little girls I knew *ahem MT* ;).

Thankfully, the day was beautiful and we got to have a picnic lunch and play out back most of the morning!

Later that day, D tackled play-doh and made a very nice cake :).

Today, we met some friends at the zoo for a morning of fun.

For the first time I've ever seen, they had 'free' face painting. P, of course, opted for a pink and purple hippo :).

S treated the kids to some fabulous ice cream cones, complete with sprinkles, YUM! Thanks S!!
