We brought a lot of games to play with the kids, but one that makes me LOL with memories galore is War. And yes, we are using the same cards I
It snowed Monday, and was just a beautiful sight! This area desperately needs snow.
Wednesday, we made our way to the resort for D's 1st official lesson, and G's 1st time back on the board since 2006. We had to stop and sit in the cool chairs on our way in :).
Ready to drop D off. I have to say I was a bit nervous never having done this before. We signed him up for a whole day, so we literally waved goodbye at 9 AM and didn't see him again until 3:30 PM. And yes, you can be sure I put a note in his pocket asking any potential 'finders' to please return him :) ♥.
After dropping D off, we saw G on his way too.
P and I made claw necklaces back at the condo. The clubhouse has activities set-up throughout the day you can participate in, so we decided to try this one out. Super fun! She decided to make hers for D ♥. The one I made is now hers :).
We also played more with her sticker set she got for Christmas. She LOVES it :)!
D after a whole day of lessons LOL :). He did a GREAT job; we were sooooo proud of our little skier!!!! He enjoyed himself so much that he asked to take another lesson \o/!!!!
G took D home to rest and I took P up for an up-and-down ride on the gondola. Spectacular views and fun to have it all to ourselves :).
Getting ready to drop D off for his second day of lessons (Thursday, 1/19/2012).
On the way back to the condo, P came up with a new P-word ♥. Listen closely, to what we apparently wash our clothes in :).
A washing mcqueen :)!!!!!! Love it!
I can't believe our little piece of heaven comes to an end tomorrow. We've had such a fun time together though, and are so lucky for this! Already looking forward to Boyarko Vail Week 2014!!! I did manage to get some videos and pictures of D during his lesson the second day, so I'll get those posted in the next few days. We left him completely alone during his first lesson because we didn't want him to see us and have that short circuit the entire lesson.
