P doodling with puff paint :).
We decided to try and get a few pictures of D in his lessons this time, so we found a perch high enough that he couldn't see us, but we could see him. The ski school slope is in the lower left hand corner of the below picture.
G enjoying the spectacular views :)!
When D came back out from lunch, we saw him swinging his gloves all around. He's never done this before, so we had a good laugh trying to figure out why he was doing it. Later, we saw the ski instructors dancing around and encouraging the kids to do the glove swinging thing LOL.
There's D! He was focused on learning to stop correctly. This has been the biggest struggle between he and I, so it was nice to see him really trying and achieving this milestone!!!
P was completely wiped after the long week with just a few days of naps. She actually fell asleep on the shuttle riding back to the condo, so I just laid her on the bed: coat, hat and all ♥. Such a little trooper!
Once she woke up, she had fun playing with her new tote bag!
We gave D his, but the Wii was more appealing at that moment lol :).
Unfortunately, we think D ate something bad during Thursday's ski school session because not long after I took the above picture, he got sick, and it lasted through most of the night. Thankfully, he was feeling better by the time we needed to drive home, so we thought we were in the clear. HAHAHAHA. Merging from I-70 to W-470, with 1.5 hours still to drive home, P decided to heave her stomach contents. All.over.the.carseat. AHEM. Well, I guess it just wouldn't be a Boyarko trip without some untimely vomit :). I could probably link you to at least 5 similar episodes captured on this blog, but I will spare you!
Anyhoo, we made it home safely and in one piece, and after a few hours, D finally crashed out: after 2 days of lessons and one night up sick. We decided to just let him sleep through dinner and he ended up sleeping all the way through until 7 AM the next day. One tired little guy ♥!
P puzzled while D snoozed :). We had taken several of her favorites with us, but she still just can't get enough puzzles!
What an amazing trip! Ironically, I was looking through old pictures on Saturday and came across some from when I was about 10 or 11 years old, taken at the same Vail condo area :). Ah memories! Glad to be making some new ones too, especially in a location where I have many cherished ones from my childhood. Now, back to reality!
