A Few Familiar Favorites

Hard to believe February is right around the corner, and with it, Valentine's Day. I was caught off guard last year, as it was the first year D exchanged Valentine's at school, so this year, we got started a little earlier:




























We made enough for school friends, family, and friends, so let's just say they did A LOT of painting :). Now, on to the writing part!

And, it was time for our monthly outing to the Bear Creek Nature Center. We had to miss December's hike with Santa as we didn't feel like driving with all the crazies in all the fresh powder :). Today's program was 'Who Lives Under the Leaves'. Fun times!

P insisted on wearing her cutie patootie princess dress to the affair :). D and his good buddy M are up front, both in orange, listening intently for one second :).

We had a sad death in the family yesterday: G's Grandfather passed away after a lengthy battle with his health. G leaves tomorrow morning to be with his family during this difficult period. Glad he is finally at peace. He will be missed! This post contains a cute picture of him with the kids.
