Water World ~ 1st Trip

Yesterday, we took our first trip to Water World with the kids. Determined to get the most for our $$, we arrived before the gates opened (10 AM), but figured we'd be leaving no later than 3 PM. Boy were we wrong! Our little fish were still swimming full-fins-ahead at 3 PM lol. We ended up leaving at 5:15 PM after waiting forever for the wave pool to emit waves (which it fiiiiinally did about 5 minutes after our departure). If the waves had been working properly (darn emergency stop error), I suspect we would've closed the park :). What an amazing day!!! Thank you so much BKSE, for sharing that with us!

The minute she was still, she was sound asleep lol. So proud of our little 2-year-old! Her two little feet padded ALL OVER that park, up and down hills, across hot cement and glided down the water slides all by self! She has no fear...even wanted to ride one of the scariest rides there :). Good thing for height requirements *whew*.














And though it took him a bit longer, he was passed out before we left Denver :). Proud of him too! He rode so many rides and it was neat to see him test out some of the 'older' ones (at 42" he was still a bit limited though). No complaints out of the mouth of this babe either...what a trooper!
