May the Force be with Us

Kid Force that is :). We decided to sign the kids up for the Kid Force program this year, which yields some free tickets to various sporting events, some schwag, and many hours of fun (we hope!) exploring new things. The past weekend was Kid's Day at Falcon Stadium, where we all got to watch the football team scrimmage and then run around on the field afterwards and get a few signatures (if/as desired).

Arriving on the scene. Though the temps weren't sky high, the intensity of the sun was a little tough.

'Watching' the scrimmage. They watched on and off, but I think climbing around in the bleachers held quite of bit of appeal as well :).

Go Air Force!

Thankfully, the kids weren't too interested in waiting in line for autographs from the players or cheerleaders. After chasing D around the field a few times, everyone was happy to get out of the sun and go home.

Totally off the subject, but an event from today...P won't need surgery on her finger!!! The doc said the functionality is normal, and though it still looks a little strange, it should grow into itself over time. Whew!!!!! Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers!
