MAT and V-Day

This past Sunday was our monthly outing to the MAT for their Kids First Series. As usual, it was very enjoyable, though this time I should call it puppet-astic :).

A little peak at the fun we had...


The show was titled 'Rapunzel' and was done by Paul Mesner Puppets. It was the perfect combination of kid entertainment and adult enjoyment, in my opinion :).














Putting the final touches on his Valentine's cards for his classmates...his name :).














D's teachers told us we could support his writing all the names on the envelopes, as well as his own name (keep in mind this is 20 cards worth) by using a yellow highlighter and writing everything out so he could trace the letters. I thought this part of the project would take multiple days to complete, but boy was I wrong. D had so much fun he cranked out all of the envelopes and nearly all of the cards in one sitting! BTW, this is the painting project the kids worked on this past Sunday.
