Date Nights!

This past weekend, we were lucky enough to have THREE date nights :). The fun started on Thursday night when our friends graciously took D and P to Chuck-E-Cheese so G and I could enjoy some adult time to ourselves. While the kids were frolicking with M and L, we watched The Rite (I love evil Anthony Hopkins!) and checked out the local Rock Bottom Brewery. Many thanks to M and L for showing our kids such a fuuuuuuun time!

Then, we got to enjoy time with our niece and nephew ♥!!! What fun it was to have them come spend the night with us...we even managed a little sleeping lol :).

E did a fantastic job with hers! It was neat to watch her take her time and really think about where she wanted the decorations and she even wrote her name on them all!














Once Arts and Projects was over, we moved on to the games :). Go Fish!














The boys enjoyed a few rounds of Hi Ho Cherry-o as well. E was busy puzzling :).














And, believe it or not, we wore them out :). They took a cute 30 minute pause to gather steam for round two.














All four kids grew animals over-night. No, not in wine, in water lol :). The only clear glasses we had happened to be these.














Once darkness fell, the glow sticks came out to play!














D and E had to have one last check on those growing animals before bedtime.














Saturday, we drove our kids up to spend the rest of the weekend with their cousins in Denver! While that fun was underway, G and I finally checked out downtown C Springs. Dinner and drinks at the Phantom Canyon Brewery and some shake shake shakin' at the Mansion (aka swanky dance bar). Fun stuff, fun weekend!!!!
