It's That Time of Year...

...when half the boxes from the basement get unpacked so we can adorn the house with all things Christmas ♥. Decorating has probably always been one of my most favorite parts of this holiday and I have many wonderful memories of doing this very thing with my family as a child. It will be such a treat to carry on and discover new traditions with the kiddos :). This weekend, we managed to get all the decorations hung and the Christmas tree up and ornamented :).

Troubleshooting the xmas tree lights. We finally bought a tree with lights integrated into the limbs (\o/ for easy assembly), but discovered that linking all the electrical cords together resembles a crazy-maze and requires some mad skillz :).














G helped the kids decorate their tree while I put the break-ables waaaaaaaay up high on the big tree. Their favorite cat ornament (second video in post) still sings with his usual charm lol.
