It's A Balancing Act

Uh huh. That right there? Trouble, right here in river city :o). Miss P is on her way to walking \o/!

We had quite the scare with her yesterday. Thankfully, she is doing fabulously. I was picking the kids up from the gym daycare and just before I went in, a worker came flying out the door with an awful look on her face, saw me and said, "P was choking, she wasn't breathing. She's breathing now. The paramedics are coming." Not the words one really wants to hear in regards to their kid. She was ok and breathing by the time I got to her. Apparently she had gotten a hold of part of a crayon, put it in her mouth (Miss Mouthy) and choked on it, but managed to swallow it. At the advice of the medical professionals, we went to the ER in an ambulance and then proceeded to wait for 4 hours to be seen (LOL...not). At any rate, they just made sure it wasn't lodged in her airway, that she could eat/drink, said it would melt and pass out and sent us on our merry way. *WHEW*
