December Days

We are back! And I am finally catching up to all things technical lol. Two weeks away from email etc. can really put a body behind :). At any rate, we had a most wonderful time in OH celebrating a b-day and Thanksgiving and we are so grateful for our family and friends there who showed us a magnificent time! I'll be posting pics over the next week so I don't bombard you with too many at once :). So, without further ado, the week in pics...

...started off at BKSE's house for an afternoon/evening of fun and early b-day celebrations :). And of course, it wouldn't be a celebration without Rockstar P!

Our trip out East started early on the 22nd with a trip to DIA. After a smooth sail through security, we found ourselves comfortably enjoying life in the member's club (or whatever it is actually called) taking in the sights, drinking coffee and eating bananas :). D was mesmerized...

...and P was cheesy :).

Once aboard the plane, the excitement was barely contained :)...

...and D was eager to test out his pilot skills!

But as you can see, the excitement quickly wore off and succumbed to tiredness from the early AM and rough night before (P of course came down with a nasty cough and proceeded to be ill the whole vacay)...

...even D needed some quiet time.

Once we arrived in OH, the celebrations began again with a fun trip to Quaker Steak and Lube for some hoops...

...and beer :). Well, and wings too of course lol. Here I am celebrating a bodily-fluids free flight with the kids. Oh, and 37 (OMG!) years as well. No really, I am grateful for those years and looking forward to this new one!!!

And no b-day is complete without cake...

...and cheese :) ♥.

Grandpa helped D with his ♥...smart cookie that D. Ensuring all dessert makes it to his mouth rather than all the places it may end up if he were flying solo with that fork :).

The picture (and D's smile) says it all :)!

Stay tuned...TBC!
