So Far So Good

D's surgery this morning went very well! Whew!!! It was a very early morning for all (5 AM) with a 7:30 AM go time, and thankfully, we were home by just a little after 9 AM. There were no complications and the doctor said both eyes were "severely clogged." So, we both feel much better about our decision to move forward with the surgery having heard that. D was a total champ; he had fun meeting the various doctors and nurses and enjoyed his tiger gown. He was not so happy when he woke up, but was ok once they removed his IV and everything else stuck to his body. He slept like a champ both this morning and this afternoon and has eaten two meals, so we feel comfortable that he is doing great. Thanks to you all for your thoughts!!!
