More OH Times...

Monday, July 2nd

Kennywood, here we cooooooome! We made an amazing (and hot!) trip to Kennywood Monday morning to play away the day with the kids and Aunt KeeKee.

Waiting with Grandpa...

Log ride SPLASHdown with Uncle C, P, Grandpa and D!

Not to be left dry behind, Grandma and me :).

P testing out her mad pilot skillz in kiddieworld.

Ahem. Kiddieword was not for D this time around. He went right for the big guns...the SkyCoaster.

I was just a little nervous lol. D is standing to my left :).

Listening to the ride operators so we knew what to do.

Still smiling (and looking lol).

This just gives you a better idea of how high we were being lifted up.

Look closely and you'll see I'm reaching for the orange rip cord that begins our crazy flight. My eyes were shut, lol, so it took a few seconds to find it.

3, 2, 1...flllllllyyyyyyyyy!

After the initial swing out, I opened my eyes again and took in the sights (and breathed). Never mind that D was right beside me laughing and talking about how cool it was and wanting to go again.

Train ride with the family :). Time to tone it down a bit lol.

Official Pictures from a few of the rides...

Again, the pictures are a little out of order, but here are a few more from kiddieworld...

That small speck in the distance is when D and I were being hoisted up on the SkyCoaster.

Back to the train ride...

She's armed and dangerous with those double-fisted wipes :).

Tuesday, July 3rd

G and I made our way to C-Town for a night out! We had a nice view of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame from our hotel window.

We even made it to an Indians Game :)!

Walking back to the hotel to meet some friends, we got DRENCHED! The sky opened up and let us have it.

We were excited to spend some time with our old buddy S and meet his wife A. Note that G and I look like wet rats because, well, we literally were lol.

We're pretty sure the long-haired dude was a member of the Cleveland Browns. Yes, the Broncos fan in me was having a hard time staying quiet instead of causing a riotscene ;). It was rather funny to watch that part of the bar 'come alive' when he came in.

For my hubby...

Meanwhile, back at Grandpa and Grandma's, the kids enjoyed time at Chuck-E-Cheese.

And playing with an old castle that was once their Dad and Uncle C's.

Uncle C snuggles ♥

And not to be left out, Mario-cat :).

Playing play-doh...it never gets old!
