The Good:
Saturday, we decided it was high time to take the kids to see a movie for the first time in a theater. We saw Tangled (so cute!) and they both did a great job given the length of time to sit down and focus.
While waiting for Daddy to buy the tickets, they took a drive with (and on!) none other than Spiderman!
Getting ready for Tangled! Everyone had their own seat, but I did have to help hold P's down as she didn't quite weigh enough LOL.
With Sunday, came the bad and the UGLY:
Bad: when the childcare director at your gym comes into the locker room carrying your daughter and asks to speak with you in a closed-door room, you know it ain't good. Further, when she says, "First I'll tell you what happened and then I'll show you," you know it may have just gotten worse.
UGLY: Anyhoo, Miss P got her finger smashed (I nearly fainted when I saw it) in a door while G and I were spinning and it turned into a rush trip to the ER, multiple x-ray sessions, a splint, another trip to the ER to replace removed splint, massive vomit session on the drive home from second trip (windows rolled down in the snow storm to prevent further vomiting from other parties in the car), and a lot of quiet time at home...and visits to doctor offices. Thankfully, the specialist believes the tendon is not severed and that it will heal without issue and there will be no long-term effects/issues *WHEW*! She is in a full-arm cast for at least one week to allow the nail/nail bed to heal and will have stitches removed early next week (OUCHY!). Here is her precious little pink cast...
