Tumble D and Cast-Free P

D's tumbling class wrapped up today with a fun performance showing us all that they have been working on over the past few months. It was super fun and we await the official pics from Villa (hopefully soon!) to share. I got a great post-performance pic, complete with balloon, medal and all the sugar a kid could imagine lol.



















P's cast came off today and the unfortunate news was delivered that her upper tendon was severed in the accident :(. She'll be cast-free for 4 weeks and then they will reassess. The likely outcome is surgery, unless it heals on its own, which of course is what we are hoping for. However, in the meantime, we will be hitting the pool as much as we possibly can since surgery would mean another 4 weeks (at least) in a cast. We're working with her to have her re-engage her finger and hand in day-to-day activity since they have been casted for three weeks now.
