Wabybugs and Weekend Excitement

D and I took the weekend off from skiing and enjoyed a pool party hosted by our gym and some bike/trike time since the weather was still fairly warm on Sunday. At the conclusion of the pool party, the kids were given a small toy to bring home. Both choose bugs...love our nature-loving kiddos :)!!! Below, you can hear P tell you which bug they chose ♥. You can also hear her saying her version of SpongeBob Squarepants, my least favorite thing ever, but soooooo cute coming out of her mouth lol.

This is really one of the first times she finally started using the pedals on her own. I think by Spring/Summer, she'll be zooming around everywhere :).


And, despite several months without biking, D hopped back on his regular bike and got 'er done! So proud of him!!! Stopping is still a little bit of an issue, but he is starting to understand how the pedals work to help him in that department.


And yes, P still has those lungs I talked about many moons ago (check out the very last video) ♥. We're in a very Mommy-oriented phase right now, and this was the result of me helping D with his bike, apparently for too long lol.
