Mountains of Fun

Today, I took D to Echo Mountain Ski Resort so he could learn how to ski :). What a perfect place for this super fun endeavor!! He was sooooooo excited that he woke right up and got ready to go with no hassles. Now, if I could just bottle that and use it on school days lol. Two hours later, we found the mountain and Uncle B, Aunt K, S and E showed us around (thank you so much you four...this was perfect!!!). One helmet, one pair of goggles and two tickets later, we were ready to rock and roll...

Unfortunately, I couldn't get a 'go' picture since I was using every available appendage to help D learn how to get down the bunny hill :).

We had us some SERIOUS fun!! D did SUCH a wonderful job for his very first time and though it was a most strenuous workout, I haven't had that much fun on the slopes in a long time :). We decided to get a pass so we can go as many times as we want for the rest of the season (D assured me he is already set to go next weekend lol). Soooooooo fun to get back into these things and share the experiences with the kiddos. Here's hoping Miss P will be ready to test out her ski legs next season!
