Marbles and Spices and Tea Parties, Oh My!

We enjoyed a fabulous weekend in FoCo and Denver, celebrating D & P's cousin E's 3rd birthday! It was a whirlwind few days with much activity and less sleep :). Can't wait to do it again!

Ansy, D and P inspect the marbles/beads for blue ladybugs, green hearts, yellow stars...wait, this isn't a commercial for Lucky Charms ;).

Check out the book title :). Sounds like our household these days lol.

Poppa grabs some P snuggles while D prepares to make German pancakes.

Everyone got to join in the baking fun :).

Future chefs \o/

Tiny tea parties kept a smile on everyone's faces!

mmmmmuh seems to be the word P has designated for smelling spices ♥. She and D kept their Ansy busy in that department :).

And for the fun! Happy Birthday E!!! No further pictures were taken due to camera hazards...aka water slides, swimming pools, and splash areas lol.

P enjoying her sunglasses from the party.

D too!

We even made a trip to the local pumpkin patch to pick up a few carving pumpkins and enjoy the experience. Neat to go to such a rural patch after having been at a very large one the past few years.

P took time to smell the flowers...literally :D.

Our pumpkins ♥

D found a fuzzy caterpillar and moved him from the parking lot to a much safer location ♥.

Thanks to everyone for making it such a fun weekend for us! G and I even got to hit downtown FoCo Saturday night...nice to have some adult time together :).

Even though it is cloudy here today, both kids wanted to wear their sunglasses this morning :).

And, we had a fun flashlight decorating party at the gym late last week. The kids brought home neato flashlights and we had a great time with them, which led to...

...evol D and...

...evol P ♥.

And I couldn't resist including this adorable video of D singing the song he learned at school...

Love how he transitions into his 'grumpy' voice there at the end lol.
