This morning, the kids and I decided to explore downtown Pitts, mainly just to get out of the hotel room for a while and see what there was to see. It turned out to be quite fun as there are little water fountains all over that D just loved playing around in. And, we ended up over by where G was working so we all took a nice little stroll down by the river on one of his breaks. Can you say HUMID?! LOL - we ABQ-ians forgot what humidity is like :). Anyway, we discovered in our explorations that we are close enough to most of the things we wanted to do to not have to drive *big HUGE sigh of relief*...probably the ONLY good aspect of big city life...the not having to drive in it thing. I had a good time walking around and seeing where I used to live and spend time, though I will never say I missed anything :)...yea, you all remember how much I LOVED my little 2.5 month stint living in downtown Pitts. Other than maybe the experience of seeing all the bridges here...wow. Oh...and all the great sounds you get to hear when walking around...*beep beep honk honk squeal EFF YOU outta my way EFF YOU smack (two men fighting w/each other on the sidewalk in front of us) beep beep honk honk squeal*...you get the picture :). Anyhoo, here are some pics from our am adventures...
Just a neat view out across the river
