So, as a few of you may know (from my loony ramblings), I decided to start writing again :). This was one of my absolute loves ♥ in high school, and even when trudging through undergrad and grad school, papers were always one of my favorite things to do. Yes, I know I am weird, please don't remind me. For some reason, I have just always been able to express myself through words. Why did I choose Chemical Engineering...*face palm*...THAT my friends is a story for another day :). At any rate, something incredible happened to me today that I felt compelled to share. My work got RECOMMENDED! O.M.G! Recommended to a fairly large population of readers/writers, and recommended by someone whose work I really love. I was thrilled.flattered.stunned.amazed! Basically, it felt wonderful. I feel like this little piece of me that I have had stashed away for a long time is being revived and oh am I ever having myself a blast! Ok, nuff said, just had to share cause I couldn't contain myself :).
And, as you know, we four are headed to Pittsburgh tomorrow morning for a week...well Thursday PM we head to OH to be with the Boyarkos for a few days. G has a conference (and presentation) in the Pitts, and we are all tagging along this time. Looking forward to revisiting some of my old stomping grounds as well as seeing our OH family!
