Now that D is getting more mobile, he seems to be playing a new game of surprise with me whenever I go get him when he wakes up from a nap or in the morning. Surprise Mom, I turned around so my feet are at the head and my head is at the foot! Surprise Mom, I am sideways! Surprise Mom, I am on my tummy. Surprise Mom, I stuck my foot through the crib slats. I suspect that someday soon it will be, surprise Mom, I am standing! We recently went through the exercise of lowering the crib mattress and removing all the crib bumpers as I saw him attempt to pull-up (though unsuccessfully) a few times. I suspect the first time he is successful will be at 5 AM when I am watching the inside of my eyelids :).

Crib Craziness
