A last minute cancelation of plans, due to craaaaaazy times at VK the past two nights (hel-lo Spring Break) led us to one of our favorite hiking spots this morning, Ute Valley. We've been there a few times, and it was neat to see how much more independent the kids were today.

We also decided to break out the bird feeders today since the weather has been so warm and wonderful.

I was reminded today how relaxing a small hike with the kids is for me. We all had such a nice time and there was no stress about not doing this or that. And, for the first time, I wasn't as worried that they would fall head first down a cliff lol. Amazing morning!!!
