Animal Defenses at Bear Creek

Our monthly program at Bear Creek Nature Center was fun as usual, and this time we learned all about the types of defenses animals use against predators.

Below, Ms. J shows us one type of defense a butterfly can utilize.

Here everyone was practicing their best possum.

Shaking hands with the resident tarantula :).

Puppet play :).

Stop the presses! D got to hold the spider all.by.himself!

P held it with minimal assistance.

Awwwww! We had a picnic lunch after the program with our wonderful friends! Loving this warm, Spring weather.

Playtime!

The BC Arts and Projects of the month was rattlesnakes :).
