Mucho Gains :)

Yesterday was our first day back at Echo, post Vail ski lessons. And OMG! We took a gamble with those Vail lessons (super pricey), but they really must be the world class instructors they claim to be, because D was like a whole different boy on the slope! He was able to STOP \o/! And by the end of the day, he was getting some turns in along with stops, and making it down a little piece of the mountain unharnessed!! Amazing stuff and so proud of his progress and positive attitude! I believe by the end of this season, with one more lesson, he'll be completely unharnessed!

Dad and Ansy met us yesterday and shared the day with us. Thank you both so much, we truly enjoyed our magical day together!!!














I made friends with several people riding up the lifts since D wanted nothing to do with me and everything to do with his Poppa and Ansy ♥.

He's been released! For short stretches on slopes that aren't super steep. BUT, I certainly had my fair share of mommy moments, when I wasn't ready to let him go, but needed to (and did). Breath in, breath out :). He's flanked by Poppa and Ansy in this video, and I was up ahead making sure no trees were crashed into in the making of it ;).
