'Backbone Bonanza'

It was that time of month again, when we venture down to the Fountain Creek Nature Center for their monthly kid's program; Backbone Bonanza this time.














Ms. Nancy had several neat skeletons for the kids to look at, specifically the backbone portion.














The kids also got to make their own backbone person with pipe cleaners and pasta.




























Before starting the outside part of the program, the kids got to touch a baby bull snake Ms. Nancy had found in the nature center basement, and watch her release it back into the outdoors.

On the way back to the nature center building, we spotted a great horned owl in the trees.
